I so TOTALLY love the concept of an automatic “Alimomy” widget! In a perfect world, that’s what every woman bouncing a baby on one hip with the two-year old wiping his runny nose on the knee of her jeans that still don’t fit should get if she has to watch a rat o’ a hubby walk out the door into the sunset with the svelte co-worker cooing in his ear.
But, if it’s HIM watching HER strolling down the sidewalk with Mr. “But He Really Understands Me” at her arm and all the babies left in his, would it be called the “Alidadda” widget?

We’re probably not too far from an action like that attracting msgs & pokes from marital attorneys.

Kathy,
There are times when one must declare their own brilliance…and unfortunately this is not one of them. I wrote this post very late last night and should have run it through a spell checker…but I didn’t. I meant to say “Alimony” but “Alimomy” or “Alimommy” is indeed wittier! So, I’ll give you credit for “Alimommy” and “Alidadda.”
