		<description>Worked in company which had a "Notes" system, similar to Twitter for internal communication 20 years ago.  Good concept, but the problem, if people ran over they just sent another note.    So you ended up with 10 notes on a subject. It is easier to keep talking till you get it right.</description>

I know a journalist who just recently was reflecting on writing advice from her first editor.  The advice was to "Write as if each word costs you $500."

For me, this recalls memories of writing 6800 microprocessor machine code to fit into a 1k ram memory chip ! ;-))
